Mr. Hawley has over twenty-six years of experience as a litigator, representing defendants in numerous environmental tort, products liability and mass tort class actions. He has represented companies in class actions and individual actions involving alleged soil and groundwater contamination from underground storage tanks and underground pipelines. He has also represented defendants in state and national class actions involving seat belts, water pipes, contact lenses, hearing aids, paging systems, vanishing premium insurance policies, and other products liability and consumer fraud class actions.
From 1986- 2006 Mr. Hawley was a shareholder with Maynard, Cooper, & Gale, P.C. of Birmingham. He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable U.W. Clemon, Chief Judge, Northern District of Alabama.
