Hannah C. Thompson Named Associate Judge of the ABA YLD’s Awards and Subgrants TeamJune 1, 2015

Birmingham, AL – White Arnold & Dowd P.C. is pleased to announce that associate Hannah C. Thompson has been appointed as an Associate Judge of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division’s Awards/Subgrants Team for 2015-2016. In her new role, Ms. Thompson will judge the Division’s Law Day Contest submissions, judge the Division’s public and member service subgrants program, assist the Chief Judge with coordination of the Affiliates’ Fair based on winners/recipients of awards and subgrants, and oversee the YLD Affiliate Awards competition, which is held in conjunction with the ABA Annual Meeting. As a leader in the YLD, Ms. Thompson will help provide invaluable benefits and services to approximately 130,000 members and 300 affiliated groups.
Ms. Thompson’s practice is devoted to assisting and representing individuals in both civil and white collar litigation. Ms. Thompson has a strong background in accounting, having participated as an audit intern with Ernst & Young and having served in the accounting department for White Arnold & Dowd’s County Conservatorship. She holds a J.D. from Birmingham School of Law, and also a B.S. from the University of Alabama.
