White Arnold & Dowd Lawyers Named to State Bar Leadership Posts

Birmingham, AL – White Arnold & Dowd P.C. is pleased to announce that Alabama State Bar president J. Cole Portis has appointed numerous firm lawyers to Bar Committees and Task Forces for the current bar year.  Augusta S. Dowd, who is currently serving as president-elect of the Alabama State Bar, was also named to the Executive Committee, Finance Committee, Personnel and Bar Operations Oversight Standing Committee, Long Range Planning Committee, Succession Planning Task Force, and Local Bar Task Force.  Additionally, Robert E. Cooper was appointed to serve on both the Future of the Profession Task Force and the Senior Lawyer-New Lawyer Task Force, Kitty Rogers Brown to the Lawyer University Task Force, and Hannah C. Thompson to the Governmental Liaison Committee.  Additionally, Laura S. Gibson was named to the Disciplinary Rules and Enforcement Committee, and Hope S. Marshall was once again tapped to co-chair the Diversity Committee, a position she has held since 2009.
