Governmental Affairs

The Governmental Affairs Practice Group provides advice and representation for our clients in municipal, county, state and federal matters. Our services include developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve specific goals, monitoring legislative activities, and providing counsel regarding litigation.

We offer guidance regarding the new state ethics laws for businesses, organizations, and public officials. In addition, we provide assistance in campaign finance activities, including advising and preparing reports regarding federal and state campaign finance laws.

The group also has wide experience in counseling and representing elected officials and candidates in the areas of election law and in handling election contests and other legal actions arising out of the electoral process.
