W. Lee GilmerAssociate


Mr. Gilmer joined the firm as an associate in 2017. He received his undergraduate degree with honors from Furman University, where he majored in history and philosophy and excelled as a middle-distance runner. He was recognized as a top student leader and as the most outstanding student-athlete in his graduating class before being awarded an NCAA postgraduate scholarship. He earned his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he was a finalist in the John C. Campbell Moot Court Competition, a member of the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society, and received the Order of the Samaritan for his dedication to pro bono work. A native of Mobile, Alabama, he remains an avid runner and enjoys spending time hiking and fishing.
